For those rainy days when our kids are cooped up at home, consider taking them out to one of Mississauga’s many indoor attractions across the city. The following are some fun, interactive and engaging activities that will keep your children’s minds and bodies active when they are not able to expend their energy outdoors.

The Mississauga Library System

Your local library is the best place to take your children to encourage them to develop a lifelong love of reading.  At the library, your children will discover shelves upon shelves of books from every genre, as well as a large selection of DVDs and video games. While visiting, your child can also explore media on the computers, and engage in cooperative play in the play areas provided. You can also attend drop-in programs and classes with your kids. The Mississauga Library offers classes for children of all ages and interests including book clubs, Lego classes, family story time, movie nights, board games, puzzle challenges, craft classes and so much more! Visit www.mississauga.ca/portal/residents/library for locations, classes and programming.
