In 2016, Mayor Crombie hosted the inaugural Mayor’s Youth Employment Expo at the City of Mississauga. Over 1,300 participants registered to attend and over 70 different public and private-sector organizations were on hand ready to hire for full-time, part-time, casual, volunteer and co-op positions. This year’s Youth Employment Expo will also feature workshops on resume writing, interview and networking skills. We look forward to building upon the success in 2016 and furthering our reach to ensure more youth in our city find employment. The 2017 Youth Expo will take place Sunday, November 19th, 2017 at the Mississauga Civic Centre in the Great Hall, Ground Floor. The event includes workshops from noon – 1 pm and the Employment Expo from 1 – 4 pm. Registration is mandatory.
