Port Credit is one of Mississauga’s most diverse and plentiful food destinations. The main street is bustling with global eateries, from Greek to Italian, Spanish to Irish, Indian to good ole fashioned Canadian Poutine, there’s something for everyone.

The question remains however, is there enough? Well, when it comes to food joints, there probably is no such thing as too much. Especially once you move beyond the main street and head eastward, the food options become a little less plentiful and a lot more sparse. Thankfully, a new food option has just opened its doors beside the Tim Horton’s and Verve Gas Station; Prince’s Fine Caribbean Cuisine.

The stylish new outlet offers the finest Jamaican and Caribbean cuisines, from chicken curry roti, to shrimp curry. The food is a great blend of spicy and tasteful, and is authentic to the nations it embodies. There are a number of Caribbean restaurants in Mississauga and Prince’s fits right in and aims to join the very best.

On top of the excellent food available, the service is very friendly and prompt. The menu is very affordable and you are welcome to sit within the premises, even though it’s a rather small space.

Prince’s Fine Caribbean Cuisine just recently opened its doors on Lakeshore Road East, just by Tim Horton’s in Port Credit. It’s an easy-to-miss space but has a bright yellow neon sign out front, so keep your eyes peeled for “Prince’s”. If you’re in the mood for something a little different, try Port Credit’s newest eatery and only Caribbean joint!
