In its 10th year, the semi-annual Taste of Clarkson gives the people of Mississauga a chance to take a culinary journey to experience different restaurants without leaving the historic neighborhood of Clarkson Village.  The event was originally organized to showcase the diverse dining scene in this small area if Mississauga.  “Ten years ago a handful of us in Clarkson had an idea to organize an event that not only brought people to the village but let them know that they didn’t have to travel to downtown Toronto to have that dining experience” says Vince Angheloni of Solstice Restaurant & Wine Bar.

“Ten years later the event has grown.  At one time we were as many as six restaurants.  Unfortunately, some area restaurants do not wish to participate for whatever reason but we will continue with it as we feel we have an obligation to our loyal fans.”  adds Vince Angheloni

This time around there is three participating restaurants.  Clarkson Bistro,Michael’s Backdoor Restaurant, Solstice Restaurant & Wine BarEach will be putting their own unique touch to the fixed 2-course Lunch special for $23.95, and 3-course Dinner special for $34.95
