The Coronavirus pandemic has been a punishing time period for everyone, but it has affected small business and independent stores that much more.
The restaurant industry in particular has been throttled by having their doors shut, and forced to work solely with takeout and delivery. And this challenging time has, of course, reached one of Mississauga’s most beloved and renowned catering businesses: Two Guys and a Grill. If you’re not aware of this catering operation, here’s their official description:
Two Guys and a Grill Catering has been a reliable catering provider in the GTA since 1990. Family-owned and operated, our honest, high-quality food and service is the key to making your event the memorable experience you envision.
As of late, Two Guys and a Grill has been operating out of Mississauga’s Vic Johnston’s Community Centre, located at 335 Church Street. The Community Centre itself has been shut down as a result of the epidemic, but the duo behind the brand have been making good use of the building to keep their business operating as normal. Or as close to normal as can be.
So what can you get from Two Guys and a Grill? Well their current menu consists of Family Feasts, like 35oz. Angus beef sirloin, a whole tandoori chicken, smoked brisket, chicken & ribs, or spatchcock chicken. And any of those meals comes with corn, maple-glazed potatoes, asparagus, baked bread, and is designed to feed 4-5 people.
There are also whole menu sections dedicated to chicken, brisket, ribs, lamb and more. And you can check out the menu here. As restrictions are beginning to slowly ease and be rescinded, many of us are still unable to celebrate and have parties for birthdays, anniversaries and the like, as we usually do. Well Two Guys and a Grill is an excellent way to get some great food for a small gathering.
