Mississauga is a food city, we’ve touted this for years. And it remains true today, regardless of the Coronavirus pandemic that has cut so many of our favourite restaurants at the knees.
So today we thought we’d tell you about some of our favourite burger joints, which are offering curbside pick-up for you and yours to grab some eats and head straight back home.
Located at 6039 Erin Mills Parkway, Gladiator Burger is one of the newer locations here in the city, having only opened back in 2018. The awesome themed restaurant serves-up some aptly meaty concoctions like the Gladiator Burger (a double pattie with all the trimmings, costing $12), Hawaiian burger (with pineapple), chicken sandwich, and sides like onion rings, sweet potato, cheese fries, poutine. This is fast food done right.
Available On: UberEats, DoorDash

325 Central Parkway West is where you will find Ozzy’s Burgers, and the reason why we think you need to go there is simple: burgers that you can barely fit in your mouth.
Ozzy’s specialises in mammoth burgers with mounds of bacon, cheese, peppers, sauce, and everything in between. And best of all, everything is reasonably priced!
We’ve said it time and again but Solstice is open of Mississauga’s best restaurants for fine dining, and it’s been operating business as usual since lockdown started.
In Clarkson at 1801 Lakeshore Road West, Solstice is offering much of it’s usual mouth-watering menu, but right now it’s their Kobe burger that we can’t recommend enough. 8oz Wagyu beef with brick cheese, arugula, tomato and sriracha aioli, served with French fries. If it’s a higher class of burger you’re after, this is the one.
Burger Priest operates two locations in Mississauga: 129 Lakeshore Road East, 5027 Hurontario Street, and we think both are well worth driving for.
Burger’s Priest is a Canadian icon that has proven itself the (arguable) king of burgers time and again. The menu might not be huge and the prices are higher than most, but you get what you pay for and Burger Priest is fantastic.
