In today’s modern world with all the advanced metrics, sciences, knowledge etc. we have at our disposal, whether it be in sport, medicine or any other discipline, one place where it can affect almost every human being – if not, every one – is when it comes to health. It doesn’t take one of these advanced metrics to realize, that better health often equates to a better quality of life.
In this Health Series, we will discuss the many ways and activities one can use to insure and improve their health, thus doing the same to their quality of life. Method #1 – Yoga.
While considered a passing fad in Hollywood, or something that “celebrities do” or the next “thing”, yoga is a practice that has been around for thousands of years, which can be beneficial to you mentally (reduce stress, promote relaxation, and for women aid with conditions such as their premenstrual syndrome) as well as physically (increasing and enhancing flexibility, strengthening muscles, and rehab from certain physical injuries).
