Local Canada Post workers deliver to Compass Food Bank during holiday season.
Letter carriers for Canada Post through their Health and Safety Committee made a significant donation to a local charity during the holidays. With over 100 employees, the depot at 890 Rangeview Road voted on The Compass Food Bank as the charity to support during the greatest time of need.
Health and safety is always a forefront in their demanding roles as delivery agents but, the joy of giving and the compassion generated by gathering goods for less fortunate is their mandate for this season.
Their official name is Delivery Agents at Rangeview Depot, servicing Port Credit and Clarkson region. The project was spearheaded by the Joint Health and Safety Team, co-chair Tanya Findlay & Carlos Paua.
