In addition to Ontario Produce, the Farmers’ Market also offers vendors with a range of handcrafted items at Artisan’s Row (also known as the Crafters’ Market Place). Artisan’s Row features local crafters showcasing their handcrafted items including clothing, jewelry, purses, art, glass and mixed media. Food vendors offer a range of homemade items including artisan cheese, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, jam, sauces and spices.

Not only is the Farmers’ Market a great way for us to purchase local food, but it is also a community gathering experience, fostering a sense of belonging and connectivity within the community. The market gives us a chance to connect with other people in our community. Also, when we support our local farmers, this keeps the money in our community where it can be reinvested for the good of the village. The fresh and delicious foods you pick up at the Farmers’ Market supports local farmers and businesses which in turn helps create jobs and supports Ontario’s economic growth. Buying local also means your food comes from closer to home, making it the freshest produce available!
