We’re three weeks deep into the Rotary Club’s 2018 Movies In The Park, and we’re not stopping yet!

Port Credit has been the home to the Rotary Club for many years and 2018 is no different. The first two weeks of this season brought us The Lego Ninjago Movie and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, two great movies the audience loved.

This week brings us the third instalment in the hilarious Despicable Me franchise. It’s hard to believe but the original movie came out almost ten years ago, and the minions have subsequently taken over the world. Mission accomplished! Check out the trailer for Despicable Me 3 right here:

Despicable Me 3 brings back Steve Carell as the voice of Gru, as well as Trey Parker, Kristin Wiig, Miranda Cosgrave, Julie Andrews and Steve Coogan, to round out the incredible voice cast.

The movie released last summer and made even more money than the first two movies! In fact, the Minions movie and Despicable Me 3 are the first animated movies to ever crack a billion dollars. That shows the incredible love families have for this cast of characters, as well as the love/hate minions. It’s no surprise then that a fourth movie is in development, as is a sequel to Minions.

Despicable Me 3 will be shown in Port Credit’s Memorial Park this coming Friday, around 9 PM. The movie is free of charge but you can purchase popcorn from the vendor while there. Feel free to brings snacks and remember to carry a chair or blanket with you. The whole family is invited to Port Credit park for a fun night of movie action!
