Over 60 vendors to showcase the GTHA’s finest vegan-based food, drink, clothing & accessories, products, advocate groups, children’s activities and more!

Joining a rising trend of VegFests across the globe, Port Credit will host its first vegan festival, Mississauga VegFest, on Saturday, May 12th from 11 am to 6 pm in Port Credit Memorial Park. The event will draw thousands of visitors from the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area to explore over 60 vendors showcasing the areas finest veg-based food, drink, clothing & accessories, products, advocate groups and children’s activities.

Offering free admission, Mississauga VegFest will bring together both vegans and the veg-curious to discover animal-free alternatives in benefit of humans, animals and the environment.

“VegFest is an event for everyone vegan or not – from junk-foodies to the health-conscious, animal and earth lovers, to families and more,” said Shannon Baldwin, founder of Mississauga VegFest. “Whether you just love food and want to eat a mouth-watering doughnut, want to make a global change through animal-free products, or are just looking for a day of free family fun, there’s truly something for everyone!”

Families will have a veg-tastic time in the KidSanctuary with veg-inspired family activities like cooking, yoga, storytelling and more.

Mississauga VegFest is run by a group of resident volunteers and is hosted in partnership with the Port Credit BIA and support of City of Mississauga.
