To further contain the spread of COVID-19, the Ontario Government issued the mandatory closure of non-essential workplaces Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 11:59pm.
The closure will be in effect for 14 days with the possibility of extending the order as the situation evolves. A full list of businesses that are permitted to stay open will be released tomorrow by the Provincial Government.
Essential services may continue their operations to maintain supply chains and ensure that people continue to have access to necessities, including groceries, medicines and other essential products.
Visit here for more information. I will post further updates as I receive more detailed information.

Child Care for Essential and Critical Service Workers
The City has received permission from the Province of Ontario to open some licensed childcare facilities for kids whose parents are providing us with essential and critical services, as defined by the Province. A list of these services will be made available, and I will share that list once I receive it. The City is establishing an online registration system that will be communicated widely once available. The centres will open as quickly as possible, following registration.
