There are more holiday-themed events taking place in Mississauga than you could shake a candy cane at. From Christmas markets to Santa’s grotto’s and everything in between. However, as much fun as it is to partake in these events, Christmas is also a great time to give back. To do something more, something that’s selfless.
So do you feel like doing something charitable this week? Well then you should head to The Brogue Inn in Port Credit. On Wednesday, December 12th, from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, there will be a social meal, hosted by MPP Rudy Cuzzetto.
Beyond the meal, there will also be a cash bar and complimentary soft drinks. Taking part in the meal will cost $20, as well as a can of non-perishable food – such as cans of beans, corn, salmon, soups, corned beef, noddles, etc. The proceeds of the events will go towards the Mississauga Food Bank, just in time to help those less fortunate for Christmas.
As an added benefit, there’s also currently a Toy Drive happening at The Brogue Inn. Liam’s Toy Drive works in conjunction with Peel Region Police, ensuring no child goes without this year. So please bring an wrapped gift or donate some money, as well as the can of food. It’s not asking for much but it genuinely could make a world of difference to someone else.
So come to The Brogue Inn this Wednesday night for a great meal and to help others in the community. To partake, you can head to The Brogue and buy one in person, call 9050274-8228, or email Rudy Cuzzetto at firstname.lastname@example.org.
