Usher the holiday season into Mississauga with the Streetsville BIA’s annual (and growing!) ‘Christmas in the Village’ weekend!

The event will build on the success of last year’s Christmas market, which means even more quality vendors will be lit up and lining Queen St. S. from November 25th-26th for all your Christmas shopping needs.

From 2:00pm-9:00pm on Saturday and 11:00am-4:00pm on Sunday, join everyone for a deliciously crisp holiday craft beer or mulled wine while enjoying live entertainment for the whole family. Ice carving demonstrations, Christmas choirs, and even a Tom Jones impersonator are just a few acts lined up to take center stage at the Hospitality Lounge (Streetsville Village Square)! Take a load off in cozy Muskoka chairs, and remember to bring your appetite – some seriously delicious, mouth-watering maple taffy will be available in the Square, not to mention local restaurants and unique food trucks will be serving all sorts of goodies all weekend long!

Entertain the little ones at the Children’s Craft Area where kids will listen to classic Christmas stories, make holiday themed crafts, and get pictures with their favourite princesses. No need to stand in line at the mall – Santa will be taking time from his busy schedule to take pictures and listen to those ever-growing Christmas lists outside Robinson Bray House. Afterwards, chug on over to Reindeer Ridge (Jon Clipperton Park) via adorable mini train to enjoy an array of winter games and, on Sunday, Santa’s crew of live reindeer! If you’re looking for an alternative form of transportation, try taking a whimsical horse and carriage ride through town!

Don’t forget to grab a ‘Christmas in the Village’ information booklet on your way to the festival – they’re packed full with interesting Christmas facts and helpful information about the event!
