“Twenty-three years ago, when the first Mississauga Waterfront Festival was held, I asked then Mayor Hazel McCallion to be our honourary chair,” says Patricia Anderson, Founder and Chair of the Mississauga Waterfront Festival. “Hazel still supports the Festival because like me she sees the value it brings to the community. Visitors explore Port Credit, local community groups get to raise awareness about their programs, but most importantly it is an event where families can go and have fun!”
