Tim Hortons is joining the rest of Canada in celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Confederation. To mark the occasion, Tims is introducing a mouth-watering slew of new food and drinks to get your summer started right!

Before we dive in and start rhyming off the list of tasty treats, a quick reminder that it’s once again Nutella season at Timmies, meaning you can pick-up a croissant or a donut filled with Nutella and topped with hazelnuts. Just in case you’d forgotten.

Anyways, we all know Tims offers a pretty decent selection of cold drinks, like the frozen lemonade, well you can now get two new flavours of Real Fruit Chill: mixed berry and tropical! Perfect options for these unusually tropical days.

Then there’s the sandwiches. So many of us love to stop at Tims and grab breakfast or lunch, and we all have our favourites, but you’ve gotta break free from habit and try the new turkey jalapeno jack sandwich, or cheese and chive grilled bagel, or the marble rye grilled bagel. And I haven’t even mentioned the new loaded wedges that are covered in chilli and cheese.

You would think this was a sponsored ad…hell, I’m not even Canadian! Anyway, I’ve saved the best for last: the pastries. What would you say if I told you that you can now get maple Timbits? I know, you’d tell me I’m a dirty liar and that I should stop teasing you. Well I’m no liar, maple Timbits are a thing and the universe is a little better for it.

As if that wasn’t enough, you can also grab a white and red velvet muffin, Nanaimo bar donut, and, last but not least, the dutchie donut has risen from the dead to haunt your teeth once again!

That’s a heck of a lot of food that I’ve just rhymed off and I can legit feel myself getting hungry. And I bet you are too, so let’s wrap things up and go somewhere to eat…I’m thinking Timmies.
