Mississauga’s Premiere Music Festival – Celebrating Canada’s 150th Birthday- This year to mark Canada & Ontario’s 150th anniversary the Shuffle has a 100% Canadian line-up scheduled.
Over three days this year, September 8th-10th, the Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle is estimated to bring 70,000 music lovers to enjoy more than 80 bands preforming at over 20 street locations and on four stages in Port Credit‘s Memorial Park.
Make sure on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 6:00 pm to check out the Free Rabba Fine Foods Street Shuffle and festival kick-off parade with Lakeshore Road closed to traffic from Hwy. 10 to Stavebank Road. Over 20 different bands will perform throughout the afternoon.
The Ontario 150 Free Zone located at the south end of Memorial Park, which as the name indicates, is free to enter, offers 2 stages of continuous live music, an artisan market, beer & wine gardens & BBQ food court.
The entire park is fenced in & licensed to allow patrons to shuffle with drinks from one stage to another enjoying a variety of live music.
There are also two ticketed stages at the north end of the park. Admission is $10 on Friday and $15 Saturday or Sunday with a weekend pass for $30. Upgrades to the covered Bourbon Street Mardi Gras tent are available for $25 per day or $65 for a weekend pass on a first come, first served basis.
The Shuffle owes its success to the cooperation and generosity of their loyal and hard-working volunteers, sponsors and granting bodies including the City of Mississauga, The Port Credit BIA, Port Credit Community Foundation, Heritage Canada, Celebrate Ontario, Ontario 150 and its title sponsor, Tim Hortons of Mississauga, main stage sponsors Heath & Sherwood, Fonia Mobile and The Conspiracy to Promote Artists, as well as Mill Street Brewery.
