Dixie Road is one of the busiest stretches of road in all of Mississauga. New restaurants and businesses open on the road each week, putting it well on par with the city centre and Port Credit in terms of things to do and places to eat. As such, it should come as no surprise that another new restaurant just opened its doors, and it’s a unique bistro.
Tony’s Skinny Chef Bistro is the new restaurant that opened its doors just last month. You can find it at 6435 Dixie Road, which is just off the Courtneypark Drive East intersection. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday, with varying hours. Inside the restaurant is casual but elegant; like a low-key Jack Astor’s. There’s nice wooden floors with unique grey painted tables, as well as a few TV’s by the bar. All in all it’s a nice setting for a relaxed meal.
Speaking of which, you’ll be curious what kinds of things are on the menu. Well that’s what makes Tony’s Skinny Chef Bistro so unique, it’s actually a fusion restaurant of Canadian, Caribbean, and Italian cuisine! This might be Mississauga’s first three-way fusion restaurant.
As you may expect, Tony’s offers a wide array of foods with a pretty giant menu. From appetisers like wonton’s and soups, to Guyanese chow mein dishes and duck dishes. There’s also shrimp, beef, chicken, Roti, fried rice, and lots more. And, you’ll want to wash it down with something from the restaurant’s extensive wine menu. It’s an huge menu that is sure to provide something for everyone.
